摘要:

         肺動脈高壓為一複雜的疾病群。此疾病易造成漸進性的倦怠、容易疲累、呼吸喘、運動耐受力降低，且之後可能發生不明原因的乾咳、心絞痛、昏厥、週邊水腫、肢體末端腫脹等症狀，嚴重時可能會有頸靜脈怒張、腹水產生，嚴重降低生活品質。近期醫學界已有許多突破性研究及新的治療模式，經過新型藥物給予醫療介入已顯著改善病人症狀、提升生活品質。因此希望藉由討論會與國外專家學者進行交流，分享世界肺高壓治療趨勢，以提供病人最佳治療。

Pulmonary artery hypertension is the result of a group of complex diseases. The disease often causes fatigue, shortness of breath, and decreased exercise tolerance. Some common symptoms include dry cough, chest tightness, syncope, peripheral edema, and swelling of extremities. And ascites may present in the late stage of engorgement of the external jugular vein. The patient’s quality of life is drastically affected. Recent medical advances, such as a breakthrough in new medications and the emphasis on a multidisciplinary approach, have significantly reduced the patient’s symptoms. This conference is a platform for international experts to share and introduce their experiences in treating the disease in a real-life scenario to help further improve the outcome of the patient with the disease.
